Air Conditioning Cleaning: Terms & Conditions

AIR CONDITIONING CLEANING TERMS AND CONDITIONS General conditions for cleaning air conditioners

Welcome to Cool Care Solutions. By using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Cool Care Solutions reserves the right to make changes to the site and these Conditions of Trade. It is the customer’s responsibility to review these terms for updates or changes.

Cool Care Solutions cannot be held responsible for any pre-existing conditions that are not apparent during the initial visual inspection. These may include, but are not limited to:

Insufficient access or clearance to all air conditioning units to be cleaned. Faulty remote controls, exhausted batteries, or corrosion. Faulty printed circuit boards in the evaporator or condenser. Faulty components in the evaporator or condenser. Worn airflow louvre motors, brittle louvres, or filters due to age or poor maintenance. Aged, discoloured, or brittle plastic parts and covers, which may be susceptible to damage during cleaning. Any air conditioner over 5 years of age may be subject to a higher risk of component failure during or post-cleaning. The customer acknowledges this risk and indemnifies Cool Care Solutions from liability for such failures. Faulty or deteriorated pipe insulation or lagging. Faulty or damaged electrical cabling or circuit isolating switches. Condensate pump failure or leakage post-cleaning. Evaporator drain failure or leakage post-cleaning. Customer responsibility for preparing the area

Prior to the commencement of cleaning, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all wall hangings, furniture (including televisions), and any other items in proximity to the cleaning area are removed. This includes items situated directly below the air conditioning units. While Cool Care Solutions technicians will take care during the cleaning process, we are not liable for any damage to items left in place, including but not limited to wall hangings, furniture, and televisions.

For air conditioners with wall-mounted televisions directly beneath them, Cool Care Solutions accepts no liability for damage caused by condensate leakage at any time following the service. This also includes any damage to electrical equipment.

It is our recommendation that no flat-screen television or wall-mounted monitor be installed directly under an air conditioning evaporator.

Cool Care Solutions cannot be held liable for any system damage due to poorly mounted or unprofessionally fixed evaporators to walls or ceilings.

Cool Care Solutions only warrants claims related to workmanship if the claim is reported within 3 working days following the completion of the service. In the event of a customer complaint, the customer agrees to allow Cool Care Solutions the opportunity to rectify the work.

By proceeding with the Cool Care Solutions cleaning service, customers acknowledge and accept the conditions outlined above, particularly with regard to the removal of items prior to the cleaning process.

Cool Care Solutions will provide outdoor condenser coil flushing for units mounted at ground level, as listed in the service. If the condenser is mounted on a bracket or roof, two technicians are required to perform the work at heights, and additional surcharges will apply.

While Cool Care Solutions’ treatments and products have deodorising effects, we cannot guarantee that odours will not reoccur. Common sources of odours may include:

Blowers and drain pans. Biological contamination of coils. Inadequate or improperly installed condensate drains. Evaporators exposed to cooking oils, fats, incense, or essential oils. Vermin or insects entering and dying within the system (e.g., mice, geckos, cockroaches). Service Fees

Weekend services. After-hours services. Public holidays. Multi-level or high-rise apartments. Parking and toll fees. Moving furniture or ensuring clear access beneath the indoor air conditioner. Air conditioners that are heavily contaminated by environmental factors (e.g., nicotine, oils, vermin).
